OFIBank will be owned primarily by overseas Filipinos and friends. It will be completely non-political and will not in any way be affiliated with any political or government-related group in the future. Nevertheless, this will not preclude the Bank from acquiring existing government-owned banks on an arms-length basis. Our investors and customers will be mostly the same group of people.

OFIBankwill be incorporated in the United States, to enjoy currency, legal and political stability, along with credibility and trustworthiness. Our goal is to build a commercial bank in California which will offer quality banking services, including quick remittances, loans, insurance and retirement plans to Filipinos and other immigrants - predominantly those from India, Mexico and South America - located in the USA. We chose California because of its large Filipino community - some 1,000,000. Concurrently and progressively, OFIBank will have branches and/or Service Centers throughout North America, the Middle East, Europe, the Pacific Rim, and elsewhere in the world with considerable numbers of Filipinos. We shall implement the latest in banking technology, mostly real-time online transactions. To keep overhead expenses low, we shall initially establish kiosks in malls for remittances before growing into full-blown branches.
